The EC1000 features EMG 81 pickups (or Seymour Duncan JB/59 Zebra), set-neck design, Mahogany body and neck, a Rosewood fingerboard, ESP's excellent TonePros System II locking bridge, and 24 extra jumbo frets.

TonePros Locking Bridge System:
A simple concept that no one thought of until TonePros, the system features set screws on either side of the bridge and stop tailpiece. Because they secure solidly in place, intonation and tuning are more accurate-the bridge never falls off. Sustain is better, too, since all of the parts in the system are locked in place and become one with the guitar body.
