Description

3-piece back for greater bass response, Martin's new body size, larger than the 000/OM, smaller than the 0000/M or D, features the Fishman F-1 Aura pickup system, with unobtrusive but powerful side-mounted on-board controls. - Body is built of solid East Indian rosewood with a 3-piece back and solid Sitka spruce top, ivoroid binding, and pearl rosette. Martin has developed a new fast neck shape for the series and a smaller bridge for more top resonance. Bound black Richlite fretboard (1-3/4" nut, 25.4" scale) with scalloped diamond inlays in white pearl, ebony headplate with logo decal, gold enclosed tuning gears. Pickup system blends the signal from a Martin Gold Plus transducer with one of 9 microphone sound images. Controls include separate 3-band EQs for pickup and sound image, volume & blend, compressor, phase control, anti-feedback filter with up to 3 notches, and a chromatic tuner.
