The Ibanez Prestige JS20 celebrates the 20th anniversary of Joe Satriani’s Surfing With the Alien CD and his 20 years with Ibanez. This deceptively simple signature Satriani Ibanez guitar features an action-packed 3D Silver Surfer graphic inlay. The DiMarzio PAF Pro produces classic humbucking sound with added presence, output and clarity. The DiMarzio Fred humbucker was designed for Joe and produces strong mids and a wide range of harmonics and overtones. Together they generate dense, musical tone that s not of this earth. The fast JS Prestige maple neck features full access to the 22-fret rosewood fingerboard and resonates perfectly with the basswood body. The combination of 25 1/2 inch neck scale and DiMarzio pickups provides wide dynamic range and versatility. 6105 frets are tall, narrow jumbo frets to make string bending easier.
