The PAC012 is Yamaha's lowest priced, solid body electric guitar. But quality isn't sacrificed. This reputable instrument with it's comfortable neck, fast action, versatile pickup configuration and affordable price is an excellent first time electric guitar.

When it comes to developing the guitarists of tomorrow, nothing is as important as quality beginner and intermediate instruments like the latest additions to the classic Yamaha Pacifica Series. The PAC012 delivers craftsmanship and tome that belie its affordable price, with an Agathis body mated to a Maple neck and Rosewood fingerboard. Electronics include the popular dual single coil/single humbucker combination, a 5-way selector switch, and passive volume and tone controls.
