Description

The recording channel from Tube-Tech is called the MEC 1A - a name that doesn’t come close to doing justice to the exciting tube-based technology inside this remarkable machine. Featuring a microphone preamp equalizer and a compressor , the single channel MEC 1A is almost totally tube. Only the power supply isn’t tubebased. The shelving and bell filters are all designed around a tube operational amplifier, while both input and output have fully floating transformers. The front panel design provides smooth, responsive control and includes a simple yet very precise VU meter for accurate monitoring of output or compression. And what the MEC 1A brings to your sound is immeasurable. A perfect addition to your studio, the MEC 1A will continue to astound you for years.
