The SMC kit can be used for several purposes, such as:
- Singer/acoustic guitarist: Mic. stand for the singer and SMC attached - In studio performance: SMC holding a pop screen can be attached to a mic stand - Percussion Instruments: The SMC is efficiently attachable and adjustable to the vast majority of percussion instruments (hoops or stands).

The SMC consists of: - One steel claw, attachable to tubular systems from 1/4" to 1 1/8" and to rectangular rods with 1/4" thickness and up to 1 1/2" width (such as drum’s hoop) - One articulated elbow - Five 3/8" hexagonal aluminum bars, 2", 4", 6", 8" and 12" lengths - One 3/8" and 5/8" male threaded tower.
- The elbow and the tower are placed on one of the hexagonal bars of your choice, which are then attached to the steel claw.
