The Black-13 Artist Series pedal was created in conjunction with Scott Ian. For over 20 years Scott has been a pioneer of the heavy metal music scene fronting such groups as Anthrax and S.O.D. Covering that much ground has left an impressive catalog of tone that begs to be a DigiTech Artist Series Pedal. Through the magic of Production Modeling, DigiTech’s engineers were able to place 7 tones, hand-picked by Scott Ian, into the Black-13. Finally, metal tone that has been reserved only for listening on recordings is now available to be let loose live.

Scott Ian delivers bone-crushing rhythms and some of the most scorching riffs ever nailed into a fretboard.

Model 3: “March of the S.O.D.” -- A experimental time in Scott’s career. This track is taken from Scott’s stint with the punk crossover band Storm Troopers of Death (S.O.D.).

Model 4: “Protest and Survive” -- An anthem for those with an ax to grind and a need for anger-driven searing tone to match.

Model 5: “Room For One More” -- Scott’s personal favorite track off the Sound of White Noise album. Perfect for laying down a groove.

Model 6: “What Doesn’t Die” -- Directly from Anthrax’s latest studio album We’ve Come For You All. All purpose monster tone.
