DEAN GUITARS' new 35th Anniversary ML, V and Z solid-body instruments are replicas that pay homage to the original Dean guitars that were introduced at the 1977 NAMM Western Market. These guitars embody the high quality materials and craftsmanship usually limited to custom instruments. All models feature distinctive head, body and neck designs. The neck, specially created for the high speed playing that guitarists want today, is up to 3/8ths of an inch thinner than models of other major manufacturers and is molded into the body in such a way that it's "good to the last fret." Fingerboards are ebony on a standard 22 fret scale and dotted with abalone. The mahogany body is topped with beautiful eye catching flame maple. Electronic equipment is set directly into the wood. Components include two specially-made DiMarzio super distortion crème/crème humbucker pickups, a 3-way toggle switch, two volume controls and one master tone control. All hardware is precision cast with a high quality brass V plate, chrome Grover machine heads and Tune-O-Matic bridge. A one of a kind deluxe hardshell 35th Anniversary case and certificate of authenticity is also included. Limited to only 150 of each guitar worldwide.
