The Alesis M1Active 520 USB is both a professional monitoring system and a USB audio interface. Just plug the USB 1.1 cable into your computer, and with no special drivers you can start listening to your mixes. Plus, you have real 16-bit/44.1 or 48 kHz audio that you can record into your favorite core-audio DAW. You'll take care of two essential studio needs with the affordably priced Alesis M1Active 520 USB.

The Alesis M1Active 520 USB speakers make the most of your desktop space - they are an all-in-one professional monitoring and recording solution. On the monitor side, they boast a wide 56Hz-20kHz frequency response through a 5" woofer and 1" silk-dome tweeter. Plus, these monitors send your audio directly into your computer via USB, so you can get to work building songs inside your favorite DAW.

Listen back to your favorite tracks with a little bit of extra low end "oomph" - the Alesis M1Active 520 USB features a bass boost, so you can kick up the bass a bit when you need it and pull it back when you don't.
